Missing Aunt Stacie

Our trip to Texas was a great success. The point of the trip was so Emma could finally meet her Honorary Aunt Stacie, Uncle B. and Haylie....the timing hasn't been right until now since returning from China. Emma fell in love with them all and vice versa. A few days ago, Emma was convinced after nap she was going to see Aunt Stacie. Almost everyday since we returned, she mentions Stacie or Haylie's mommie...so cute. Aunt Stacie has been my best friend for 20 years and I couldn't wait for her to meet our Emma.

We can't believe it's almost March! We will be signing up for The Little Gym again and taking advantage of the library and Barnes & Nobles storytime. Emma is busy burning energy on her indoor jumpolene, playing with her babies and coloring. She has a plethora of markers, crayons and stickers that she creates artwork with everyday. Numerous times a day, I hear, "pen please or marker please". Doug also takes her into his workshop a few days a week and they paint watercolor pictures and she "helps" him build model cars. Emma gets a cup of water and a paint brush to "paint" the models. He has a lot of empty jars, drawers and clips in his workshop that keep Emma busy for hours. She does a lot organizing and reorganizing.
