It's that time of month again...

4 days of referrals were issued this month, 12/16/05-12/19/05

All the waiting families are disappointed b/c we thought for sure December 2005 referrals would be quick as the number of families seem small. 2007 has proven there is no "speed up" in our future.

Right now there are 19 weeks between 12/20/05 and our LID of 4/26/06, so technically we could have 19 MORE months of waiting which would take us to August 2009.

With so much time on our hands, we've decided to go ahead with the kitchen remodel this year. We should be getting our design plans back this week, then we can begin picking out cabinetry, counters etc. We're very excited at the thought of being able to walk from the kitchen to the sunroom. This will be a lot more kid-friendly when cooking meals since even with just the 2 of us, we sit at the table for meals, but have to set our plates on the pass-thru then walk around. I'm assuming the remodel will begin in March and we will be without a kitchen for 4-6 weeks.
