Hangin' loose

We have been hangin' loose this weekend as Emma has been sneezing, drooling, screaming and clinging to us like crazy.  Sunday we took her to Children's Urgent Care because after 3 days of being fussier than normal, we thought she might have an ear infection; we didn't want to board the plane to Hawaii with an ear infection!  The ears are all clear, so we think it is the teething causing her to pull on her ear.  Teething is kicking her butt and we all can't wait for those toofers to drop down already to give the kiddo some relief.
 
All week I have been slowly packing our bags when I could and Emma "helped", lol.  Every piece of clothing I would put in the suitcase, if I turned my back for even 1 second, she had items pulled out on the floor.  The "distractions" I carried from room to room were old news compared to the luggage and clothing.  There is a lot of comfort on this trip compared to China, knowing we can purchase any items we may have forgotten right around the corner and we can read the labels! 
 
Hopefully we don't screw up Emma too much with the 6 hour time difference and have to start from square one when we return home.  We are going to try and keep the same daily patterns even though we are on vacation, even if that means we don't get to see as much of Hawaii as we want.  Hangin' loose by the pool under a cabana and eating fresh pineapple sounds good enough to me!
