August 2005 is a Roller Coaster of a wait!

The adoption websites are BUZZING because referrals that were to be here almost 2 weeks ago still have not arrived. August 2005 families are literally "camping out" by their computers waiting for the CCAA's website to change over so they can see if they are finally getting their referral. I do feel very sorry for the August 2005 group, they are so close, but so far away. The CCAA website has usually updated by now to let the families know which dates have been reviewed and which dates have been referred.

Some of the families have discovered how to track DHL referral packages coming from the CCAA in China. This is very worrisome because the CCAA caught families before and "punished" the adoption community by not updating their website and they slowed the process down. I understand the "waiting families" distress, but they are getting stir "crazy".

Our agency has repeatedly asked the families not to jeopardize our referrals or future families by DHL tracking or bashing the CCAA via the Internet. I'm going to open a can of whoop-ass if someone messes the adoption process up for us.
