Referrals are coming for August 2005 Families

Referrals are delivered about once every 30 days. This is the 3 rd time since I started monitoring referral progress that a month has taken 3 referral batches to get to the end of a full month. The August 2005 families will have waited 15-18 months by the time they travel to pick up their daughters and they were told 12 months.

The "Rumor Queen" has stated China is backlogged with approximately 25,000 families (worldwide) waiting to adopt. China has only been referring 600 children per month (vs a normal 1,000) and we are somewhere in the middle of that backlog. I can't wait to see if China "closes" to new families in order to catch up.

I smell our paperwork expiring... :)
