2 Days of Referrals

Referrals were only issued for two days, 10/25 & 10/26. Yep, you read it right, 2 days!

It's important to not focus on how many days were not covered, but how many babies were presented to their families. Hopefully in the next few days, we will learn that number. It could be that 10/25 & 10/26 were extremely large days...you can't blame a girl for hoping!

My heart aches for the families from 10/27-10/31 who thought for sure they were in this time. The amount of disappointment they must be feeling! Unfortunately, with a 4/26 LID, there will be a very good chance this could happen to us. The end of the month LID's seem to always get left hanging on the ledge every month.

Our agencies official statement is that FTIA's next date is 10/28, so no families from our agency were matched this time (or last time). They state that China has said they intend to issue the next batch earlier than normal (less than 4 weeks). So, for now, we go back to waiting to see what happens over the next 2-3 weeks. As May approaches, there is another holiday that China "shuts down" for, so that is why an earlier batch may be issued. The proof is in the pudding!
